Canyon View Capital purchases properties in the Midwest of the United States.  Our criteria comprises of numerous analytical factors including but not limited to:

  • Large, affordable complex

  • Located in a stable community

  • Recent construction or renovation

  • Fixed-rate financing available

  • Reasonable loan to value ratio

  • Positive cash flow from the beginning

  • Other value add criteria (ie: tax credit properties)

 

CVC Corporate Milestones

 

2016

  • Purchased Garden Park Apartments in February 2016. A 246 unit complex located in Fayetteville, AR next to the University of Arkansas.

  • Purchased University Park Apartments in Conway, AR, a 160 unit complex located next to Central Arkansas University.

2015

  • Profitably sold Crestwood Manor Apartments, located in Little Rock, AR for $9.075M in an unsolicited offer.

  • Invested in upgrading property and financial technology including installing revenue enhancement software at all properties.

2014

  • Purchased Chamberland Square Apartments on June 3rd. The complex comprises 96 units and is located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Bringing CVC’s portfolio to over 2,500 units.

  • Refinanced Golden Pond Phase IV on June 30th. Acquired a permanent 12 year loan from Fannie Mae to pay off the existing bridge loan from Santa Cruz County Bank. All phases of Golden Pond will be refinanced together in 2026.

  • Purchased Woodlake Village Apartments on August 28th. The complex comprises 156 units and is located in Independence, Missouri.

  • Purchased Bowen Tower on December 5th. This complex comprises 91 units in a single 10 story building located in Raytown, Missouri.

2013

    • Purchased The Trails at The Ridge, a 200 unit apartment complex in Kansas City, MO

    • Acquired the final phase of the Golden Pond complex in Springfield, MO consisting of 122 units. This brings total ownership to more than 2,000 units in the Canyon View Capital portfolio.

    • Purchased Brittany Place Apartments, a 144 unit apartment complex in Raytown, MO.

    • Purchased The Fountains at LindenWoods Apartments, a 216 unit apartment community and The Fountains at LindenWoods Duplexes, a 28 unit duplex community in Kansas City, MO

2012

      • Purchased tax credit property, Park Place, with 152 units in Springfield, MO

      • Purchased 187 additional units (3 phases) at Golden Pond in Springfield, MO and took over all property management at this complex on Jan 1, 2013.
