Canyon View Capital – Santa Cruz, CA

Robert (Bob) Davidson was introduced to real estate investing in the 1970s while a CPA at the San Francisco office of Hurdman, Cranstoun, Penney & Company (now KPMG). During his years of auditing real estate partnerships, he recognized how to create highly profitable, tax-advantaged real estate investments for his clients. In the 1980’s, he started Davidson Fohs & Associates Accountancy Corporation (DF&A) as well as several real estate partnerships. He then broadened his service to investors through the use of privately held, tax advantaged funds — thus the ’birth’ of Canyon View Capital.  As CEO, Bob identifies properties that make tax sense and increase investor’s purchasing power after taxes and inflation. His keen appreciation for these concepts, have afforded an impressive track record as noted in the firm’s earning history.

Retired from DF&A in 2006, Bob is now focused primarily on real estate investing for CVC.  He has lived in Santa Cruz for 40+ years. He is an avid racquet ball player, travels extensively and is an experienced pilot.
